Coffe Meets Bagel (aka CMB) claims to be the dating app for singles looking for real relationship.
Coffe Meets Bagel requires you to login with your Facebook account, however it claims to keep your dating life private, unless you want to share it.
The dating app’s motto is quality over quantity. What this means is that you get to see a limited number of potential matches aka bagels, based on mutual interest, location and of course mutual friends.
The more details you add to your profile, the more coffee beans you earn, hence the more profiles you are allowed to see.
You can also buy coffee beans and use them to see the mutual friends between you and your match, go back to a missed match or get score & ranking.
Every day at noon, the dating app will send you your daily bagel or in other words a fresh new profile you’ve been matched with. At this point you can “Like” or “Pass”. Press the “Pass” button and you’ll never see that person again. “Like” it and you’ll be send to a private chat room where you can get to know each other.
Keep in mind tho that you only have 24 hours to Like or Pass your bagel and to encourage real life connection the chat expires after 7 days.
To brake the ice and avoid the awkward first message, Coffee Meets Bagel suggest conversation topics, based on the information you have provided in your profile.
Coffe Meets Bagel Reviews
“Like!! ^.^ Some of the bagels you offered me really got my pulse racing! Hopefully the bagels I’ve liked will like me back and lead to dates hehe. Overall 4/5 because less than half of the bagels you offered interests me. Nevertheless, the minority of bagels that interest me were really of good quality. Thumbs up and thank you for that CmB! ^.” 4/5 (Enni Tan)
“This app is pretty unique for a dating app. It takes away from talking to multiple people at the same time which can be overwhelming. However, this app has its fair share of bugs. For instace, some of my pics come out as duplicate or even missing. The message part is super buggy. Sometimes I don’t get notification until I check the app even though I have the notification on.” (0blistik)
“Chill. A very relaxed way to meet people. Would recommend 10/10. My only criticism is that there is no tutorial, but it’s pretty easy to use actually. ” (Joseph Ang)
“Good matches well paced Unlike other dating apps, this does not give you too many people, limits the chatting to 7 days to see if you like a match or not and provides a good range of people within your specified settings ” (Saswathi Natta)
